Our process

Initial session

The initial session can be held online or in person. We are a mobile service, so if it is within the areas we service, we can come to you where you feel the most comfortable.

Future sessions

Appointments can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on recommendations and preferences. We discuss and set goals that you wish to achieve.

Sessions may be short-term or long-term, dependent on goals, recommendations and preferences.

Review and exit

After a block of sessions (5 or 10 sessions) we review our goals and discuss the progress or changes we have seen. We strive to always self-reflect and ensure that we are on the right track.

If you feel that all goals that you wished to achieve have been met, we will happily graduate your child from sessions.

Our aim is to support the goals that you seek to work on, and build your capacity so you no longer need us!

Though we love working with our families, our ultimate goal is to support you to graduate from sessions and leave feeling confident that you can support your child independently.

Speech and Language Assessments

Write a short text about your service. Highlight key benefits for potential clients.

Speech Sounds

Speech sounds is formulating sounds with our mouth to then create words.

Early communication is when children are first learning to interact, connect, play and speak.

Early Communication

Receptive and Expressive Language

Receptive language is our skills in understanding others spoken language and reading comprehension. Expressive language is our skills in sharing our thoughts through spoken and written language.

Social Communication

Social communication is when we communicate using non speaking and speaking methods to send our thoughts and feelings to others.

Pre-literacy skills are foundational skills to reading and writing. Literacy is the skills that support us to read and write.
